Wait, back up. Who’s Thea Rettical?
So glad you asked.
I’m Thea, a 30ish-year-old person who loves reading, writing, and most nerdy things. I’m lucky enough to have a partner and kiddo (both of which I’ll most likely talk about), a decent job that pays the bills, and the time and energy to try something new.

Great question!
I used to blog regularly a few years ago, but got burned in the process and fell out of love with it. I think I’m at a place now where I can try to start writing again. I’ve missed it. I like getting things out in the world, even if only a few people read it.
What are you going to write about?
Anything that strikes my fancy.
book reviews
movies/TV shows/podcasts I’m obsessed about
nerdy things like Harry Potter, Magic the Gathering, and board games
literary deep dives (gotta stretch those English degree muscles)
parenting a small kiddo
